Your first visit
In our practice the personal contact to you has first priority. The individual contact between you and us as a whole team is of most importance to us, to understand your personal wishes. In a personal informative conversation Dr. Rosenthal will discuss all possibilities of treatment of your hair loss and with the help of computer animated graphics you will have the possibility to actually see how a hair transplant with different number of grafts would look like. Since every hair transplant is so unique, this personalized consultation with Dr. Rosenthal is so important. If a hair transplantation is not the best solution for you, we will show you different and alternative possibilities. After evaluating all options with its pro and cons and when you are sure about your decision, we will fix a date for your hair transplantation.
What should you consider before your first consultation?
Please inform yourself previously about the different techniques of hair transplantation and consider if the Artas® robotic hair restoration would be a possible technique for you.
Are you 18 years old or older?
Unfortunately we do not treat patients younger than age 18.
What happens at the first consultation?
We will talk about your hair loss, your possible hair transplantation , your state of health and possible medication. Furthermore we will evaluate the causes of your hair loss. We will have the possibility to use a 3-D animation program for your hair transplantation. It is a graphical device with which Dr. Rosenthal can define the optimal hair design which can be later on transferred to the Artas® Robotic System. This way the patient can visualize how he will look like later on. This is of great importance as unrealistic aspects can be avoided. It is also very important for the patient to have an idea about his later hair-line and to avoid unnatural looks.
Second opinion
You are interested in a second opinion regarding your hair transplantation and you would be interested to learn about all possibilities and newest techniques in hair restoration. Please come to our practice and we will discuss all possibilities in your single case. We will try to point out the best possible solution for you. In many case we need to advise the patient against a possible hair transplantation.
