What sets us apart from conventional providers

Natural results

Gender-affirming hair transplants demand a deep understanding of feminine and masculine hairlines, from the contour of the forehead to hair density. Dr. Rosenthal designs results that sit harmoniously within your overall appearance.

Medication safety

Many patients are on ongoing hormone therapy. With finasteride in particular, possible interactions need careful review, which takes solid knowledge at the intersection of endocrinology and hair surgery.

A holistic approach

No standard protocol, but an individual plan that takes your transition, your hair growth patterns and your personal aesthetic goals as a whole.

Evidence-based & transparent

What the clinical literature shows

A few reliable reference points that inform the planning. Your individual situation is always assessed in person.

5.5 cm Average distance from mid-brow to a feminine hairline, for a masculine M-shape it is closer to 6.5 cm.
> 90 % Graft survival when the procedure follows stabilised hormone levels, comparable to cisgender patients.
Permanent Transplanted follicles keep the characteristics of their donor area and grow regardless of hormone status.

Figures drawn from the clinical literature (including Nusbaum et al.; Koo et al.; Operative Techniques in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery). These are averages and do not replace an individual consultation.

Frequently asked

Good to know

Yes. Many of our patients are on ongoing hormone therapy. Transplanted follicles keep the genetic characteristics of the area they came from and continue to grow permanently. Possible interactions, particularly with finasteride, are carefully reviewed beforehandideally once hormone levels are stable.

A feminine hairline typically sits further forward, is rounder and avoids the masculine M-shape; a masculine line may run flatter and more angular. The exact contour is matched to your features and your goals.

Explicitly, yes. The design follows no binary template, only an individual aesthetic goal that reflects your own gender identity.

Discretion is a given for us. From booking through consultation to aftercare you are looked after by the same team throughout, respectfully and confidentially.

No, not necessarily. For hairline correction or lowering in particular we offer gentler approaches such as partial shaving or unshaven techniques, so your existing hair can stay long and the procedure stays as inconspicuous as possible in daily life.

The fine crusts in the recipient area usually clear within 10 to 14 days. Most patients are comfortable in public again after just a few days and can resume their usual activities.

As a rule this is a self-pay treatment. Under certain medical and psychological circumstances, however, an application for cover can be made to your insurer. We are glad to support you with the relevant documentation.

The first new hairs come through at around three to four months. Clearly visible added density shows from month six, and the final result is reached at roughly 12 to 15 months.

We do not treat categories. We treat people, towards the image that feels right to you.
